Bent Rods in Sight Thanks To Premier Fishing Guide Jason Thatcher
Friday, March 7, 2008 at 2:25PM
I’m getting tired of the “flat rod” action from bait fishing on the bank for sturgeon. I think I’m getting what fisherman call the “Flat Pole Syndrome,” so I decided to see what I could get into with Guide Jason Thatcher with Executive Guide Service. Jason guides on the Feather, American and Sacramento Rivers. I have been fortunate enough to fish with Jason on a few occasions and have been part of some truly successful and memorable trips on the water. In fact, one trip in particular to the Feather during the striper season turned out to be my best day of fishing ever. With more than 30 fish caught in one day, it seemed as though we had a fish on a rod at all times.
Whether drift boat fishing for wild trout or jet boat fishing for trophy striper, Jason Thatcher will put you on the fish. Right now, Jason is catching beautiful wild trout in the upper Sacramento River using fly gear. Fly Fishing + Wild Trout + River Fishing + Guide Jason Thatcher = Good Times and Great Memories! That’s my kinda trip!

It is funny that you wrote this. I have been thinking the same thing. I have put so many hours in to fishing lately and haven't caught much. I might need to seek out the advice of a professional. Thanks for the link. I will check out this guide and see if he might be able to break this slump I am in. It has just been too long since I have caught a fish worth of bragging about. My father's birthday is coming up and I think that a guided trip and actually catching some fish would be the perfect gift. Thanks again for the great idea.
No problem Kirky! Have fun!
